Aqua-Tots Swim School in Novi is seeking a Special Needs Swim Instructor for the SNAP program. This is a part-time role offering 5-10 hours weekly with weekend nights off.

No prior swimming experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training and adapt our curriculum to your strengths in working with children with special needs. You will work exclusively with SNAP students, teach water safety, and help each child build confidence in the water while collaborating with families.

Aqua-Tots Swim School is seeking a part-time, compassionate, and patient swim instructor to teach our SNAP (Special Needs Aquatics Program) swim lessons.

We are looking for individuals currently or formerly employed as paraprofessionals, special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational or behavioral therapists, or those in similar fields and/or educational backgrounds that are seeking some additional hours supporting children with special needs. Someone looking for 5-10 hours a week to use existing skills in a new fun way.

No prior swimming experience is required. Current or prior education or work in similar fields required/expected/needed. We will provide comprehensive training in our curriculum and equip you with the tools to adapt it to your existing strengths and expertise with special needs children.

Plus, with a starting pay of $22+/Hour, you can earn a competitive wage while doing what you love.

As a Special Needs Swim Instructor, you will:

• Work exclusively with children in our SNAP program.
