Qualifications

• Assist teacher in performing all clerical responsibilities; prepare materials.
• Maintain accurate records on all children assigned to the program.
• Follow students' Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
• Provide daily self-care support and assist with health care needs.
• Lift 30-40 pounds and move students as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in carrying out the instructional program.
• Coordinate and supervise student activities in collaboration with staff.
• Demonstrate warmth, care and enthusiasm toward students.
• Transport students in district vehicles as required.
• Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
