Job summary

Anne Arundel County Public Schools Transportation Lot Office - Pasadena, Maryland seeks an Aide: Van to support transportation for special education, McKinney-Vento and non-public students. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate preferred.
• One (1) year general knowledge of and/or experience in dealing with special needs students preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists students when boarding and exiting the vehicle, lifting as needed.
• Assigns seats and ensures seat belts are worn.
• Safely store crutches, orthopedic aids and student possessions.
• Observes students during transit and responds to needs or emergencies.
• Assists during medical emergencies and transfers to correct vehicle.
