• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Two years of college or an associate degree or higher.
• Able to work effectively with special needs students.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction under a certified teacher.
• Implement behavior management techniques as directed by teacher/building principal.
• Complete daily work schedules as assigned by the teacher/principal.
• Assist the teacher with classroom maintenance and organization.
• Assist with lunchroom, recess, and bus duties.
• Be aware of and adhere to Board of Education policies and school guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
