Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist/Job Coach to support individuals with IDD in integrated community work settings. You will provide one‑on‑one coaching, help explore career interests, secure employment, and build skills for long‑term success at work.

The role currently offers Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 2pm, with the potential for additional hours as a Direct Support Professional.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Day-time availability
• ACRE and/or CESP certification preferred but not required

• Assist with enhancing job skills by monitoring progress through documentation
• Educate employers on benefits and opportunities of work with people with disabilities

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist/Job Coaches to join our team. In this role, Job Coaches provide one‑on‑one support, coaching, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in integrated community work settings. Job Coaches assist individuals in exploring career interests, securing employment, and developing the skills needed to maintain long‑term success at work. We are searching for a Job Coach who can support a client on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am - 2pm. We also have the opportunity to work additional hours as a Direct Support Professional, supporting adults with IDD through companionship, personal care, community participation support, and more.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Empowering an Individual to obtain meaningful employment
• Assist with enhancing job skills by monitoring progress through documentation
• Educate employers on benefits and opportunities of work with people with disabilities
• Advocating for inclusion on the job and reasonable accommodations for the individual
• Making an impact on the community

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive pay rates: ($18-25 / hr) with a weekly pay schedule
• Flexible scheduling (part‑time, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
