Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a school in Welkom, South Africa, to recruit a dedicated Special Needs Education Teacher. The role focuses on providing specialized instruction and implementing IEPs for diverse learners, working alongside therapists and parents to tailor education plans.

You will support learners through differentiated instruction, integrating assistive technologies, and promoting confidence and independence in a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Special Needs Education (e.g., Post Graduate Certificate in Education).
• Registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
• Experience with learners with disabilities (e.g., learning difficulties, autism, ADHD).
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and assistive technologies.
• Excellent communication, patience and problem-solving skills.
