Position: High School Special Education Teacher
Company: Fourways Consulting LLC
Contract Details: Full time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction in various subjects, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of each student
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure accommodations and modifications are implemented in the classroom
• Monitor and track student progress and make necessary adjustments to instruction and support
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, school staff, and outside service providers to ensure a collaborative and effective learning environment
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth for all students
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development opportunities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to student progress and services provided

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid state teaching license in Special Education
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a high school special education setting
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
