Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Education Coordinator to lead our support services in Paarl. You will oversee IEP development and drive inclusive practices, working with teachers, therapists, and parents to empower students with diverse needs.

You will coordinate a multidisciplinary team, provide staff guidance, and ensure adherence to legal requirements while promoting a supportive and collaborative learning environment for students to thrive both academically and socially.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Needs Education, Educational Psychology, or related field.
• 6+ years in special needs education with at least 3 years in coordination or leadership.
• Knowledge of learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and intervention strategies.
• Strong understanding of legal frameworks and best practices in special education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with an empathetic approach.
