HJSRLLC is seeking a compassionate Dentist to provide high-quality oral healthcare at the San Angelo Supported Living Center and related community clients in Carlsbad, TX. The role emphasizes safety, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with an anesthesia provider for complex rehabilitations.

Responsibilities include comprehensive exams, restorations, extractions, treatment planning, and thorough documentation in EHR/EMR, with adherence to HHSC guidelines and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in digital dentistry and electronic health records (EHR/EMR).
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communication, organization skills.
• Experience or comfort providing dental care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive, limited, and emergency dental exams, restorative procedures, simple extractions, crown preparations, and denture cases.
• Collaborate with an anesthesiology provider to execute complete oral rehabilitations for residents requiring sedation.
• Develop detailed, written treatment plans with clear clinical justifications for any irreversible dental treatments.
• Maintain timely, precise electronic health records (EHR/EMR) for all resident encounters.
• Follow facility SOPs, CMS standards, SGSSLC policies, and HHSC regulations.
• Work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team with minimal supervision.
