Job summary

Fidelity Partners seeks a Licensed Dentist for on-site service at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center in Carlsbad, TX. This hourly, as-needed position offers a primary work window 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT, with rapid response to service calls and on-site presence for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant dental experience.
• Current Texas dental license and annual Registration Certificate.
• Current DEA registration.
• CPR certification.
• All licenses, accreditations, and insurance required to perform services.
• Able to meet HHSC background and access requirements.
• Respond within required service-call times.
• Maintain professional conduct and records.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and limited dental examinations and treatment planning for residents.
• Obtain and interpret dental radiographs and provide findings and treatment summaries.
• Provide preventive and periodontal services and periodontal procedures.
• Perform extractions and other oral-surgery services with pre/postoperative care.
• Provide restorative and prosthodontic services within scope.
• Perform biopsies and pathology evaluations as needed.
• Respond to routine service calls within four hours and emergencies within one hour.
• Document findings and treatment summaries for entry into the EMR.
• Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Provide clinical direction to assigned dental staff and coordinate with the Dental Director.
