Lifesteps is hiring Full-Time Special Needs Caregivers in the Butler area.

Lifesteps, a local human service agency with over 100 years of experience, is seeking compassionate staff to work with adults with disabilities in a residential home setting in Butler, PA.

Direct Care Aides (Special Needs Caregivers) assist individuals with daily activities and home care.

Responsibilities include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Providing personal care such as grooming or bathing
• Administering medication
• Supporting individual goal attainment
• Organizing community outings and activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours with shifts available in the evenings (3 pm to 11 pm) or overnight (11 pm to 7 am). Part-time hours with flexible scheduling are also available. No experience? No problem! Paid training is provided. Experienced home health aides, nurses, support assistants, and direct support professionals are welcome to apply.

Position requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance

• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
