Job summary

Ascend Rehab Inc. is seeking a Part Time Preschool Assistant to support the Little Miracles program in Antioch. You will join a caring team, help create a fun learning environment, and assist with activities that support young children’s development.

The role requests 1 year of experience with children 0-5, CPR, and 6 ECE units preferred. Position location is Antioch; salary ranges from $19 to $26 per hour, with 20–24 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• 1-year minimum working with children ages 0-5 years old.
• CPR certification required.
• A minimum of 6 ECE units is preferred but enrollment acceptable.
• Comfort with diaper changing and assisting staff with cleanup.

Responsibilities

• Support preschool activities and educational play to aid development.
• Assist staff to maintain a clean, safe classroom environment.
• Collaborate with team to deliver a fun, inclusive program.
• Provide compassionate daily care for young children as needed.

Ascend's Little Miracle Program seeks a Part Time Preschool Assistant to support our 'Little Miracles' Community Program in Antioch for children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language and communication disorders. We seek a dedicated and passionate part time Aide who can work as a team to help create a fun environment and incorporate educational activities that assist our children's development.

PREFERRED

• Bilingual preferred (but not required)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

• 1-year minimum working with children ages 0-5 years old.
• CPR
• A minimum of 6 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units are preferred but can also be enrolled or is after starting enrolled.
• Must be comfortable with diaper changing and assisting staff in cleaning up for the kiddos
