Ethos is seeking a licensed, part-time, experienced Insurance SIU / Claims Field Investigator in Louisville, KY.

Job Description

We are looking for qualified candidates to join our growing team. The role requires remote work capability, independence, and adaptability to a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and weekdays.

The SIU/Claims Field Investigator conducts interviews, investigates accident scenes, performs online research, and canvasses witnesses. They identify issues like compensability, misrepresentation, and coverage understanding, following investigation leads thoroughly.

Experience Requirements

• Previous SIU experience with an insurance carrier or investigative firm.
• Background in military or law enforcement preferred.
• At least two years in property loss investigations, including theft, fire, water, wind, and vandalism.

Licenses and Certifications

• Private Investigator License required.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Notary may be required.

Skills Needed

Strong computer, internet, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail, persistence, and organization are essential.

Equipment Requirements

Own a well-maintained vehicle, a Windows laptop, cell phone, good internet, a camera or similar device, and a recording device for statements.
