JOB SUMMARY: Our SIU Ethos team is seeking a full-time/remote Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Coordinator to play a key role in overseeing claims investigations, managing case logistics, editing final reports, and ensuring client satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in the claims or insurance investigation industry.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assign field investigators based on case needs and location
  • Brief investigators on cases and outline required information
  • Monitor investigator progress and follow up on assignments
  • Review recordings, statements, and reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Finalize and edit reports before client delivery
  • Create invoices, track costs, and deliver reports and invoices to clients
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates and support
  • Identify and promote additional services when appropriate
  • departments, including sales and operations, for strategic planning of assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Legal Studies or related field (preferred)

Experience:

  • Preferred: Minimum of 2+ years of experience managing claims investigations, including auto liability, property casualty, liability, disability, or workers' compensation OR Minimum 2+ years of experience within an SIU department at an insurance carrier or third-party administrator
  • Plus: Knowledge of vendor management, international case supervision, and SIU compliance.

Licensing:

  • Preferred adjuster's license or private investigator's license.
