Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, seeks a Special Instruction provider in New York to deliver individualized services under IFSPs. You will evaluate progress and coach parents, focusing on communication, social and daily living skills within families' routines.

Applicants must hold a NY teaching credential (Deaf/Hard of Hearing, TSSH or TSSLD) or be eligible for NY EI Special Instruction. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Must hold one of the NY teaching certifications listed.
• Certification or eligibility to provide Special Instruction through NYS Early Intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Special Instruction services per children's IFSPs.
• Perform evaluations and track child progress with ongoing assessments.
• Coach parents and teach strategies to promote skill development during daily routines.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment to improve social, communication, play and adaptive skills.
• Participate in IFSP, team and case conferences.
