Job summary

NOVA Engineering is seeking a skilled Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete and/or Masonry) for our Raleigh, NC office. This role focuses on field inspections, material testing, and producing thorough reports to support construction projects.

The candidate will read and interpret plans and specs, coordinate with clients and teams, and contribute to project success through attention to safety and quality. Raleigh-based, full-time position.

Qualifications

• ICC Reinforced Concrete and/or Structural Masonry certification is required (at least one).
• ICC Structural Steel & Bolting and ICC Structural Welding are a plus.
• ICC MSI preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
