Job summary

SOCOTEC US in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an ICC-Certified Special Inspector with reinforced concrete expertise. The successful candidate will read blueprints, understand current codes, and maintain detailed field and laboratory data, RFI's, and related documentation.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager and client representatives to ensure quality control and compliance on reinforced concrete projects; additional qualifications in masonry, post-tensioned concrete, or welding are a plus.

Qualifications

• ICC-Certified Special Inspector with reinforced concrete expertise.
• Knowledge of structural standards and current code requirements.
• Ability to read structural blueprints and maintain field/lab records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain files of field and laboratory data, reports, RFIs, and other pertinent field data.
• Communicate clearly with the Project Manager and the client’s representatives.

Job Description: We have an immediate career opportunity for an ICC-Certified Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete required; structural masonry, post tensioned reinforced concrete, high strength bolting, structural steel welding and/or pre-stressed concrete a plus) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The successful candidate should be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standards related to the construction and inspection of the components listed. The candidate must be able to read and understand structural blue prints and current code requirements. Duties include maintenance of proper and complete files of field and laboratory data, reports, letters, RFI\'s, and other pertinent field data as well as clear communications with the Project Manager and the client\'s representatives are required.
