Job summary

SOCOTEC US is seeking an ICC-Certified Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete required) for a site-based role in Denver, Colorado. The inspector will review reinforced concrete and related structural components, read and interpret blueprints, and maintain meticulous field and lab records associated with project quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of two years of field experience.
• Must be ICC-certified in reinforced concrete and related specialties.
• Ability to read and interpret structural blueprints and current code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete files of field and laboratory data, reports, letters, RFIs, and other pertinent field data.
• Communicate clearly with the Project Manager and client representatives.
• Inspect reinforced concrete, structural masonry, post-tensioned systems and related components per standards.

Job Description:

We have an immediate career opportunity for an ICC-Certified Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete required; structural masonry, post tensioned reinforced concrete, high strength bolting, structural steel welding and/or pre-stressed concrete a plus) in Denver, Colorado. The successful candidate should be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standards related to the construction and inspection of the components listed. The candidate must be able to read and understand structural blue prints and current code requirements. Duties include maintenance of proper and complete files of field and laboratory data, reports, letters, RFI's, and other pertinent field data as well as clear communications with the Project Manager and the client's representatives are required.

Education:

ICC certifications for Reinforced Concrete, Pre-stressed Concrete, Structural Steel and Bolting, structural masonry, post tensioned reinforced concrete Special Inspector or a combination thereof.

Required Skills:

The successful candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must have a minimum of two years of experience. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
