Job summary

GeoTek is seeking a Special Inspector for our Albuquerque, NM office to perform testing, observations and site assessments on multiple projects. You will operate field equipment, observe activities, collect samples and report results according to drawings and specifications.

Daily you will document time and testing data, and communicate scope changes to supervisors and clients. Qualifications include ICC certifications in Reinforced Concrete and Structural Masonry, plus ACI Field and CWI

Qualifications

• ICC Certification in Reinforced Concrete.
• ICC Certification in Structural Masonry.
• ICC Certification in Structural Steel & Welding.
• ICC Certification in Structural Steel & Bolting.
• ACI Field certification is required.
• CWI certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work under adverse weather and site conditions.
• May be required to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, observations and site assessments per project plans.
• Operate equipment, collect samples and report data.
• Communicate with supervisor and client to note scope changes or budget concerns.
• Prepare daily reports and project documentation.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers.
