Job summary

GeoTek is seeking Special Inspectors for our Meridian Office. The role performs a variety of testing, site observations, and data reporting on active projects.

You will operate field equipment, follow drawings and specifications, and communicate with Supervisors to obtain daily work assignments. Candidates should hold ICC certifications in reinforced concrete, structural masonry, or related areas, WAQTC and ACI Field where applicable, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• ICC certification in relevant inspection areas required.
• WAQTC certification preferred or required where applicable.
• ACI Field certification advantageous.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to perform tasks in adverse weather and confined spaces.
• Willingness to climb and work at height as needed.
• Good or corrected vision and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Supervisor and Dispatch to receive daily assignments.
• Prepare daily and data reports of testing and inspections.
• Perform tests and inspections as directed and document results.
• Submit project documents and maintain time sheets promptly.
• Notify supervisor of scope changes or potential budget impacts.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.
