Location: Adkins, TX
Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour
Type: Full-time - Independent Contractor (1099)
Bonus: Up to $60/week based on performance

About the Role:

Top Metal Solutions is hiring Special Helpers to support our welding or painting lines. This is a great opportunity for someone with workshop experience who is ready to contribute to production and grow into a skilled role.

What You'll Do:

• Assist welders or painters as assigned

• Apply tack welds and basic welding beads (if assigned to welding)

• Prepare surfaces and clean parts before painting

• Clean tools and equipment used in the painting process

• Use basic shop tools, including:

  • Grinders, sanders, and polishers

  • Manual and magnetic drills

  • Paint guns and compressors

  • Measuring tapes and basic cutting tools

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a workshop or production environment

• Ability to use basic tools and follow safety procedures

• Willingness to work under supervision in a fast-paced setting

• Must have a valid SSN or ITIN, ID, and bank account

• Note: Most of our team communicates in Spanish. Comfort working in a Spanish-speaking environment is important.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift and move up to 70 lbs

• Able to stand, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods

• Work may involve heat, dust, noise, and industrial equipment

• Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) is required
