• Ability to communicate technical information.
• Desire to learn industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design life safety and asset protection systems using AutoCAD and proprietary software.
• Direct contractors in proper system installation and operation.
• Survey job sites to ensure proper design and installation.
• Read and implement customer-supplied project specifications.
• Attend manufacturer training and continued education classes.
• Create project-specific operation and maintenance manuals.
• Assist office staff with engineering-related tasks.
• Assist with system inspection and maintenance.
• Assist in system startups and commissioning.
