Job summary

The DC Army National Guard seeks a Special Electronic Devices Repairer to maintain and repair a range of electronic instruments and devices, including night vision gear and battlefield equipment. You will test, read diagrams, replace parts, and ensure quality control, with opportunities to supervise and train others.

Training spans 10 weeks Basic Training and 25 weeks Advanced Individual Training, with pay during training and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Interest in mathematics, solving problems, and electronic equipment repair.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must have high school diploma or GED or be a junior in high school

Responsibilities

• Test instruments, navigational controls, and simulators.
• Read technical diagrams and manuals; replace parts.
• Ensure quality control measures; troubleshoot and inspect equipment.
• Advance level technicians may supervise and train other Soldiers
