Job summary

Walt Disney Imagineering in Glendale, CA offers an internship program from January 2027 to June 2027 focused on creating and supporting show effects for Disney park experiences. You will work with the Special Effects team across concept, design, field installation and post turnover training.

Current students pursuing BA/BS in Arts or Engineering and enrolled at an accredited college are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Able to form a plan to achieve goals and track progress.
• Basic knowledge of Special Effects installed at Disney attractions.
• General knowledge of related technical fields and their applications.
• Some knowledge of special effects/projection equipment and processes.
• SolidWorks knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist scope development from concept through close-out.
• Prepare and deliver FX scope documentation.
• Collaborate with coordinated teams to meet requirements.
• Assist in field installation.
• Support maintenance and operations training & turnover.
• Assist FX lead in concept and design of required effects.
