Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a Special Educator to deliver individualized instruction in home and community settings across Dutchess County, NY. The role involves developing multi-sensory lessons aligned with IEP goals and collecting progress data for quarterly reports.

Responsibilities include communicating with school teams, maintaining attendance and billing, and participating in CSE meetings. NYS SWD certification and 1 year of relevant experience are preferred; bilingual candidates are a plus.

• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families preferred
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and school team.
• Submit accurate attendance and electronic billing daily.
• Familiarity with discrete trial instruction, natural environment teaching, and incidental teaching is a plus.
• Participate in professional development trainings and maintain best practices.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend CSE meetings.
