Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Special Educator EI/SEIS to support children in Early Intervention and Preschool programs. Flexible day, evening, and weekend opportunities with 365-day EI scheduling.

Compensation ranges from $64–$70/hour for EI and $60/hour for Preschool, with benefits for staff working 25+ hours weekly. Strong collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in Early Intervention or Preschool Program providing individualized lessons based on IFSP/IEP goals.
• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons aligned with IFSP/IEP goals and report progress.
• Collect meaningful information on IEP/IFSP goals and report quarterly on progress.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practices.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.

Responsibilities

• Work with students who are in Early Intervention or Preschool Program providing individualized lessons which target goals from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) / Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on the IFSP/IEP goals and report progress toward these goals.
• Collect meaningful information on IEP /IFSP goals and report quarterly on child’s progress with IEP/IFSP goals.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approach and continue personal development.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.
