Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a dedicated preschool support professional to work with students in a Preschool Program, delivering individualized lessons aligned with IFSP/IEP goals. The role emphasizes collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams, maintaining detailed progress notes and ongoing communication with supervisors.

The candidate should hold NYS Certification for Students with Disabilities B-Grade 2, with at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• NYS Students with Disabilities B-Grade 2 Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families.
• Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with students who are in a Preschool Program providing individualized lessons which target goals from the IFSP/IEP.
• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on the IEP goals and report progress toward these goals.
• Collect meaningful information on IEP goals and report quarterly on child’s progress with IEP goals.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approach and continue personal development.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP meetings.
