Family of Kidz is hiring Special Educator EI/SEIS Evaluators with immediate openings! If you are passionate about helping kids and want to create your own schedule, this opportunity is for you.

Details about this opportunity:
  1. Location: Suffolk County, NY
  2. Status: Part-Time, Fee for Service or Full-time Potential
  3. Hours: Day, evening, and weekend opportunities available
  4. Compensation:
  • EI Compensation: $64-$75/hour
  • Preschool Compensation: $55-60/hour

Rates are determined by the service provided, experience, and certifications. The position may be full-time or fee-for-service depending on caseload, which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement is subject to change.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized lessons for students in Early Intervention or Preschool programs, targeting goals from IFSP/IEP.
  • Develop creative, multi-sensory lessons based on goals and report progress.
  • Collect and report progress on IEP/IFSP goals quarterly.
  • Communicate with supervisors and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
  • Attend professional development trainings.
  • Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and professionals.
  • Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.
Responsibilities for CPSE Evaluations:
  • Perform evaluations in various settings.
  • Write detailed evaluation reports.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and evaluation teams.
  • Develop functional goals based on student needs.
