Family of Kidz in Nassau County, NY seeks dedicated professionals to support Early Intervention and Preschool programs. Roles offer day, evening, and weekend opportunities with flexible scheduling and compensation based on program type.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver individualized lessons based on IFSP/IEP goals.
• Develop creative, multi-sensory lessons and report progress toward goals.
• Collect information on IEP/IFSP goals and report quarterly progress.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings and interact with parents and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Work with students who are in Early Intervention or Preschool Program providing individualized lessons which target goals from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) / Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on the IFSP/IEP goals and report progress toward these goals.
• Collect meaningful information on IEP /IFSP goals and report quarterly on child’s progress with IEP/IFSP goals.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approach and continue personal development.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.
