Job summary

Family of Kidz in Suffolk County, NY is seeking qualified pediatric therapists to support Early Intervention and Preschool programs. You will implement individualized lessons aligned to IFSP/IEP goals and track progress, delivering creative, multi-sensory activities in a fast-paced setting.

Flexibility is essential: day, evening, weekend shifts with compensation per hour. NYS certification and driver's license required; bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• NYS Students with Disabilities B-Grade 2 Certification required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with EI or Preschool students providing individualized lessons based on IFSP/IEP goals.
• Develop creative, multi-sensory lessons and report progress toward goals.
• Collect information on IEP/IFSP goals and report quarterly progress.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Submit electronic billing daily and maintain attendance.
• Attend professional development trainings to stay current.
• Maintain professionalism with parents and other professionals.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.

• Early Intervention services operate 365 days a year and can be flexibly scheduled
• Preschool services will follow the school calendar
• Compensation:
• EI Compensation: $64-$75/ hour
• Preschool Compensation: $55-60/ Hour

Responsibilities

• Work with students who are in Early Intervention or Preschool Program providing individualized lessons which target goals from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) / Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on the IFSP/IEP goals and report progress toward these goals.
• Collect meaningful information on IEP /IFSP goals and report quarterly on child’s progress with IEP/IFSP goals.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approach and continue personal development.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.
