Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking qualified tutors to provide one-on-one and small-group academic tutoring for K–12 students in Pennsylvania. You will tailor programs to meet each learner’s unique needs and collaborate with other educators to support student success.

Ideal candidates hold Special Education certification, are compassionate, reliable, and able to commit to weekday hours (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM) with 4–6 tutoring hours weekly, and maintain current background clearances and mandated forms.

Qualifications

• Special Education Certified Teachers required.
• Weekday availability 8:00 AM–3:00 PM.
• Minimum 4–6 tutoring hours per week.
• Background clearances and mandated forms up to date.
• 1–3+ years of teaching or tutoring preferred.

Job description

• Collaborate with other educators for student support

Requirements

• Special Education Certified Teachers
• Tutors that are compassionate, responsible, and student-centered
• Tutors with weekday availability between the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Available for year-round tutoring
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to student success
• Experienced (1-3+ years of teaching or tutoring preferred)
• Skilled in working with students of varying academic levels and needs
• Excellent communicator and dependable team player
• Special Education State Teacher Certification
• Minimum availability of 4–6 tutoring hours per week
• Current background clearances: FBI, PA State Police, and Child Abuse (within the past year)
• Mandated Reporter Certificate
• Recent TB Test Results
• Completion of Act 24, Act 168, and other state-mandated forms
