Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited education institution.
• Provide proof of enrollment in a local State's alternative teaching licensure/certificate program within 90 days of the start date.
• Official transcripts are required upon selection.

Responsibilities

• Prepare yearly instructional outlines and related daily lesson plans with objectives and evaluative methods.
• Teach using appropriate instructional methods to develop cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills.
• Continuously evaluate student progress using tests and alternative assessments; adjust instruction as needed.
• Maket progress reports to parents and maintain required records in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain classroom control and discipline; provide counseling based on student needs within guidelines.
