Job summary

Abraham Lincoln School seeks an Ed Tech II/III for Pre‑K and Special Education. The role runs 8:30 AM – 3:45 PM, supporting students with self‑help, social and behavioral development in a warm, inclusive classroom. Certification as Educational Technician II or III (or ability to obtain) is required.

You will help with materials, routines, and supervision, promoting confidentiality and professionalism. Experience with young children and behavior plans/IEPs is preferred; ABA techniques are

Qualifications

• Support students’ self‑help, social, and behavioral development.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and daily routines.
• Provide small group and one‑on‑one student support.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, and meal times.
• Knowledge of behavior‑management strategies is necessary.
• Ability to implement behavior plans and individual education plans is needed.
• Willingness to assist with feeding/toileting may be necessary.
• Willingness to learn and use physical restraint and Safety Care strategies
