Job summary

Great Hearts Anthem is seeking a part-time Special Education Teaching Assistant, Long-Term Substitute to support students in a inclusive classroom. The role runs as a temporary assignment from mid-October through mid-December, with a 20-hour weekly schedule on-site at Anthem, AZ.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or higher, experience in special education, and an Educational Aide certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support in small groups or 1:1.
• Assist students with assignments, homework, projects, and modifications.

• Assist with transitions, activities, and personal hygiene needs as required.
• Provide clerical support for the ESS Team and attend meetings/training sessions.

Educational Aide certification I, II, or III preferred.**Physical Functions:** Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching.
