This is a full-time, Special Education teaching position for the 2025-2026 School Year at Caesar Rodney High School. Caesar Rodney High School is a grade 9-12 High School with ~ 2,200 students.

QUALIFICATIONS: Individuals who are eligible or possess Teacher of Special Education certification are encouraged to apply. Candidate MUST also be certified in a content area (ELA, Math, or Science). Candidates must apply online.Applicant must meet State ofDelawarecertification requirements for Special Education. Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out of state teaching license.

Out of State Candidates: An educator applying for a license in the State of DE with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License. Applicants withone completed year of experience, but less than 4 years of experience will receive an Initial License. The State of Delaware DOE may recognize standard certificates from all other states as a means of eligibility.

SALARY: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules , based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
  • All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
  • Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver’s License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
