Qualifications

• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a special education classroom across core subjects.
• Evaluate student progress and keep records, prepare progress reports.
• Communicate with parents about student progress and conferences.

Hours are (8:00 am to 4:00 pm) Monday - Friday $50.00 an hour

General Responsibilities:

• Teach reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, art, health, physical education in a special education classroom
• Evaluate students academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress reports
• Communicate with parents through conferences and other means to discuss students progress and interpret the school program

General Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Special Education teaching certificate or a general Special Education certificate
• Early childhood endorsement from the Arizona Department of Education (Preschool Teacher)
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
