Job description

Special Education Teacher (SY 24-25) - Contract

Location: Millbrae, CA, 94030

What you will do:

• Small caseload

• High adult:student ratio

• Provide classroom instruction differentiated for each students learning needs and in accordance with IEP goals.

• Case management for students on caseload

• Set up, facilitate and write legally compliant/defensible IEPs

• Conduct formal assessments.

• Attend SPED trainings as requested

• Collaborate and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.

• Manage, train and support assigned paraeducators

What you will need:

• A valid CA Mild-Moderate or Moderate-Severe credential.

• Must have CLAD and AAS Authorization.

• Driver's license with own transportation.

• Minimum 2 years of current school district experience is preferred.

• Experience with TouchMath and Sonday Curriculum preferred.

• Experience in conducting IEP meetings.
