Special Education Teacher - Contract

Location:Sunnyvale, CA

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree with a certified L1 teaching credential qualified for autism special education.

  • Preference for a Master's in special education with an L2 credential in moderate-severe special education.

  • Competency in English writing and verbal communication.

  • Experience with preliminary credential internships would be highly considered.

Job Description

  • Participating in the planning of instruction and designing learning experiences for special education students.

  • Organize and understand subject matter for student learning.

  • Create and maintain effective environments for student learning.

  • Engage and support all students in the learning process.

  • Participate in assessing student learning and IEP.

  • Manage student behavior.

  • Supervise, educate, and mentor the assigned instructional specialists.
