Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an SLL Autism Unit near Spring, TX for the 2026-2027 school year. You will lead a class of nine students, primarily non-verbal and with aggressive behaviors, supported by two paraprofessionals.

You’ll craft individualized plans and collaborate with families and therapists to ensure holistic support, safety, and growth. This full-time role offers weekly pay and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and active Texas Special Education Teacher license for K-5.
• Experience working with students with autism, especially non-verbal learners.
• Comfortable managing and de-escalating physical aggression.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous SLL or similar specialized classroom experience preferred.

As a Special Education Teacher, you will guide a classroom of 9 studentsprimarily non-verbal and exhibiting physical aggressionwhile coordinating closely with two paraprofessionals. Youll craft a supportive learning environment that focuses on both academic and functional life skills.
