Description

Aequor is now hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the 2025-2026 school year!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers, school psychologists, learning disabilities specialists, speech/hearing specialists, and social workers to develop student plans.
• Set learning goals, assess progress, and record evaluations for each student.
• Update parents on student progress and involve them in behavior management and home activities.
• Supervise and train teaching assistants.
• Assist in planning students' transition to post-secondary life.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
• Active Special Education Credential
