Published Description: Aequor is now hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the 2025-2026 school year!

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with other classroom teachers, school psychologists, learning disabilities specialists, speech/hearing specialists, and school social workers to develop an integrated plan for student development.
2. Set learning goals for each student, assess their progress, and record evaluations.
3. Update parents on student progress and involve them in behavior management and home activities to support classroom learning.
4. Supervise and train teaching assistants.
5. Assist in planning students' transition to productive post-secondary lives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
• Active Special Education Credential
