Description

Aequor is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the 2025-2026 school year! Responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with classroom teachers, school psychologists, learning disabilities specialists, speech/hearing specialists, and social workers to develop student capacity plans.
2. Setting learning goals, assessing progress, and recording evaluations for each student.
3. Updating parents on student progress and involving them in behavior management and home activities.
4. Supervising and training teaching assistants.
5. Planning for students' transition to productive post-secondary lives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
• Active Special Education Credential
