Published Description: Aequor is now hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the 2025-2026 school year!

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with classroom teachers, school psychologists, learning disabilities specialists, speech/hearing specialists, and social workers to develop integrated plans for student development.
  2. Set learning goals, assess progress, and record evaluations for each student.
  3. Update parents on student progress and involve them in behavior management and home activities.
  4. Supervise and train teaching assistants.
  5. Assist in planning students' transition to productive post-secondary lives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
  • Active Special Education Credential
