Published Description: Aequor is now hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the 2025-2026 school year!

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with classroom teachers, school psychologists, learning disabilities specialists, speech/hearing specialists, and social workers to develop student support plans.
  2. Set learning goals, assess progress, and record evaluations for each student.
  3. Update parents on student progress and involve them in behavior management and home activities.
  4. Supervise and train teaching assistants.
  5. Assist in planning for students' transition to post-secondary life after graduation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
  • Active Special Education Credential
