Job summary

Gospindle in California is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher on a contract basis to support TK-5 students with a small caseload. This part-time role runs two days a week from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm through June 3, 2027, offering a stable schedule and meaningful impact.

You will deliver targeted instruction, develop and maintain IEPs, and collaborate with teachers and families to create an inclusive learning environment that helps every child thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications

• Active California CTC licensure with Mild to Moderate authorization.
• Experience with elementary-aged students preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Adaptable and collaborative, with commitment to best practices in special education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction and modifications appropriate to each student's needs.
