Job Overview

Perimeter Behavioral of Forrest City, a licensed and Joint Commission-accredited residential facility in Arkansas, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. We serve adolescents through residential programs focused on mental health and well-being, employing a resident-centered, collaborative approach to care.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure compliance with Special Education standards by developing, implementing, and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs), including behavioral, life skills, and vocational goals.
  2. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality of student records.
  3. Create individualized academic programs based on assessments of achievement, social-emotional development, and vocational skills.
  4. Utilize effective instructional techniques with diverse materials and media.
  5. Participate in IEP and treatment planning by reviewing data, preparing for meetings, and tracking student progress.
  6. Manage classroom environment to ensure safety, structure, and positive behavior reinforcement.
  7. Promote a positive learning atmosphere and maintain discipline according to behavior management plans.
  8. Collaborate with staff, families, and external agencies to support student success and community relations.
  9. Document student progress and maintain a conducive classroom environment.
Qualifications
