Job summary

Qualifications

• Active TN teaching license required for Special Education position with endorsements for Junior High Self-Contained classroom.
• Experience or ability to develop assessments aligned to IEPs and participate in IEP meetings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lessons toward mastery of state standards.
• Collaborate with other faculty and coaches to improve student performance.
• Provide small group instruction, differentiate instruction and provide interventions.
• Monitor students and communicate with parents and stakeholders.
• Develop and administer assessments and instruct students as per IEPs; hold IEP meetings.
