Oswego Community Unit School District 308 is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students with disabilities ages 3–21. The role includes direct instruction, IEP development, and collaboration with general and special education staff to plan and monitor student progress.
You will serve on the IEP team, manage a caseload, and contribute to district MTSS initiatives while adhering to district policies and procedures.
COMPENSATION: Per Teacher Salary Schedule based on education and experience. District 308 grants experience credit on the salary schedule for up to 10 years of prior, verifiable, contractual full-time teaching experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Special Education Teacher provides direct services to students withdisabilities from ages 3-21 and collaboratively consults with general and special education staff members for the benefit of those students. The special education teacher manages a caseload of students with disabilities and functions as an individualized education program (IEP) team member to determine a student's eligibility for special education services and appropriate programming, as well as on-going progress monitoring.
