Job description

The Special Education Resource Room Teacher will develop and implement specially designed instruction for our students identified with a disability. The ideal candidate will have early childhoodspecial education training or experience and will have a solid understanding of child development and how qualifying disabilities impact a student's ability to access instruction. Responsibilities include working as part of a dedicated team of professionals and parents or guardians to identify and support students that may qualify for special education services. Must have at least a conditional 282certificationthrough the Maine Department of Education.
