Job summary

The successful candidate will hold a Georgia teaching certificate in the appropriate field, a Bachelor's degree in education, and strong collaboration skills with administrators, teachers, parents, and community partners to support students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in applicable field of education from PSC-approved college or university.
• Meet Georgia certification requirements in appropriate field of education.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide learning experiences based on the district's AKS curriculum.
• Provide direct instruction and/or specially designed instruction to students in special programs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators to develop and maintain academic and behavioral programs.
• Participate as a regular faculty member and share school duties.
• Conduct in-service programs on special education and IDEIA.
